Booth Transport driver trainer Adam Judge is fronting a new video for the National Truck Accident Research Centre (NTARC) featuring practical tips to help truckies stay safe and in control on every downhill run.

Judge, who has been driving multi-combination vehicles for the last 30 years, says getting a multi-combination that weighs as much as a house down a range descent safely is a demonstration of your professionalism and expertise.

“But the measure of that expertise isn’t your ability to do it once, nor is it doing it fast, it’s doing it the 1000th time out of 1000, not 999,” Judge said.

“This isn’t something you can afford to get wrong, even once.”
